The Story of Betsy Doyle

During the War of 1812, Betsy’s husband Andrew was captured by the British. With the fall of Fort Niagara (where Betsy was staying) to the British, Betsy, with her four children in tow, survived what could have been a winter death march across New York State in December 1813. They were desperately searching for safety and Andrew. The program will tell the true story of Betsy and Andrew.
